Munshiganj: Police have recovered the body of a teenager named Tamima (14) from the Dingabhanga area of Sadar upazila in Munshiganj.
The body was recovered from a rented house in the area around 1 p.m. Monday (March 1).
Tamima is the daughter of the late Chan Mia from the village of Kagjipara in the same upazila. Her mother was an expatriate and lived with her grandmother in a rented house in the Dingabhanga area. It is known that Tamima was a student at Madrasa.
Said Deputy Police Inspector Munshiganj Sadar (SI). Billal told banglanews that the hanging body of teenager Tamima was recovered from the scene after receiving information from locals. No signs of injuries were found on his body. The body has been sent to the Munshiganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The cause of death is being investigated in detail.
