The Cabinet Economic Affairs Committee has approved in principle a proposal to follow the direct purchase procedure (DPM) for the acquisition of the coronavirus vaccine due to urgent state needs.
The approval was given at the 24th meeting of the Cabinet Economic Affairs Committee chaired by the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Anisul Haque, on Wednesday.

He said that since a large quantity of Kavid-19 vaccines must be acquired simultaneously to control the epidemic, the proposal to follow the DPM procedure for the acquisition of the Kavid-19 vaccine was approved in principle in accordance with the policy of this meeting in accordance with paragraph 6 (2) of PPR-2006.
