The Cabinet Division has directed the respective ministries to draw up an action plan to combat the second wave of coronavirus. Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam said they have been instructed to send the work plan to the cabinet department within the next 15 days. The instructions were given at an inter-ministerial meeting at the secretariat on Tuesday (September 22). After the meeting, the cabinet secretary briefed reporters on this.

The cabinet secretary said Kovid was not thinking of a nationwide shutdown to deal with the second wave. Because the country’s economy is damaged by the blockade. The government has moved away from that thinking to keep the economy afloat. Preparations are being made to deal with the second corona wave while keeping the economy afloat. He said that the decision to open the educational institution will be made after reviewing the situation.
It has been said at the meeting that if the incidence of winter increases in October-November, the covid infection may increase again. That will be the second wave of Covid. The prime minister also has instructions to deal with the second wave of Kovid. The Prime Minister said he was ready to face the second wave of Kovid using the experience of the past and learning from it. It has been said that preparations have already been made for the implementation of that directive. The ministries will then develop their own action plan and report it to the cabinet department. Then the cabinet division will coordinate them and make a final plan.
