The fog is low, the temperature is the lowest in Tentulia for the fifth day in a row

Panchagarh: Panchagarh is the northernmost district of the country. And since the Himalayas are very close to this district, winter here falls much earlier each year.

However, the district’s lowest temperature has prevailed in the district’s Tentulia upazila for five consecutive days this season, the meteorological bureau said.

At 9 a.m. on Wednesday (November 11), the lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 12.6 degrees Celsius. Previously, 13 degrees Celsius was recorded at 8 am.

Returning to the ground, it has been observed that winter increases day by day due to the mountainous Himalayan winds blowing from the northern Himalayas. As a result, people in the district, including Tentulia Upazila, have started wearing warm clothing to protect themselves from the cold. However, due to the cold wind, it feels a bit chilly from afternoon to morning, but the fog has not been noticed in recent days.

Russell Shah, officer in charge of the Tentulia Meteorological Center, told banglanews that the minimum temperature in Tentulia was recorded at 12.6 degrees Celsius at 9 a.m. on Wednesday (November 11), the lowest this season and in all the country. Earlier on Tuesday (November 10), the highest temperature of the day was recorded at 31.5 degrees Celsius.
