He added that the Azerbaijani army is currently fighting to defend its territory. In defense of the homeland, the Azerbaijani army is carrying out a successful operation and liberating the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
Also on Wednesday, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Fighting has raged in the disputed regions of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan since Sunday. Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani parliament has declared war on various cities and regions.
