The MPO registry for new educational institutions closed for 10 long years after 2010. During this time, teachers have taken to the streets in a strong movement more than once. Finally, the Ministry of Education has completed the verification and selection by continuing the work even during the general holidays. Last Wednesday, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education ordered the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) to issue MPO codes to 1,833 educational institutions. On Thursday, the Department of Techniques and Madrasa ordered the Department of Technical Education and the Department of Education of Madrasa to issue MPO codes for 972 educational institutions. This opened the fate of some 30,000 teachers and staff. Now there is no obstacle to obtaining MPO registration and salary allocation as teachers and employees.

The final approved list includes 430 lower secondary schools, 991 secondary schools, 8 schools and colleges, 92 upper secondary schools, and 52 undergraduate universities. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education has completed a total of 1,833 MPO enrollments between schools and universities. The 24 educational institutions in the previous list have been excluded.
Madrasa has 324 at the entry level, 119 at the Alim level, 34 at the Fazil level, 22 at the Kamil level and 60 at the Diploma in Agriculture level, 283 at the BM (Business Management) level and 18 at the vocational level SSC Vocational and Dakhil. The 97 companies in the above list have been excluded.
In accordance with the order issued by the Ministry of Education, teachers and employees will enroll in MPO according to MPO 2018 policy. If an institution does not maintain the desired eligibility for MPO registration, the MPO will be suspended. Teacher and staff salaries and allowances will take effect on July 1, 2019.
After the announcement of the MPO enrollment list in the first phase, it was alleged that some educational institutions had enrolled in MPO without complying with the conditions. In particular, the number of students is low, the pass rate is low, there are many complaints, including the lack of infrastructure. In addition to this, organizations established on behalf of controversial people, including war criminals, were also accused of joining MPO. The Ministry of Education formed two committees to verify and select institutions. After a long scrutiny, they ended the list by omitting 122 names.
