An expatriate merchant named Kobbat Hossain (48) was shot dead with his own pistol while trying to kill a dog in Raozan in Chittagong.

The incident took place in the Bara Thakur Para area of ​​the Purbagujra Union of the upazila on Friday afternoon (December 25), Rangunia Circle Deputy Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mohammad told Jago News. Anwar Hossain Shamim.

The deceased was identified as Kobbat Hossain, son of Billal Hossain from the Medina de Bara Thakur Para residential area in the East Gujra junction of Raozan upazila.

According to local sources, expatriate Kobbat Hossain returned from exile two months ago and brought the double-barreled weapon licensed in his name from the Raozan police station. The expatriate businessman along with the dog was shot while trying to kill the dog with a gun. The expatriate businessman was rescued injured and taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMC), where the doctor on duty declared him dead. He is the father of two sons and two daughters.
