The Ministry of Education will decide in the coming days whether educational institutions will be opened in the event of the Corona epidemic. The information was given by Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam in a limited press conference in the Secretariat after the cabinet meeting on Monday (November 9).
Previously, a virtual cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Prime Minister of Ganobhaban and other members of the Cabinet of the Secretariat attended the virtual meeting.
Educational institutions are closed until November 14. When asked if the educational institution would be reopened after that, the cabinet secretary said: “The Ministry of Education will inform you about it in the near future.”
When asked if the Prime Minister had any instructions, Khandaker Anwarul Islam said: “Strong action (mobile judicial operation) is being taken from the Khulna division. Addressing the media, the cabinet secretary said: “They will campaign a bit more to get everyone to pay attention.”
Due to Corona, the educational institution is closed from March 16 to November 14. Subsequently, the Minister of Education had told reporters about the opening of the educational institution that would be opened in a favorable situation. Also, there is no opportunity to open. However, there are plans to partially open it after November 14.
