Sajib’s older brother, Tashikul Islam, said that his brother Sajib had a lot of interest in playing cricket since he was young. The family had to eat bakao for that game. At one point he was admitted to the Rajshahi Katakhali Bangla Court Cricket Academy to develop as an established player.

From that moment on, he began to advance. One by one, he played in the U-15, 18 and 19 teams of the national team. He has played for various teams on Sri Lankan soil as a member of the U19 team. He scored the 95 highest runs in that game against India, was the highest run scorer.

At one point, he chose the path of suicide. Unbeknownst to Sajib, he committed suicide by tying a rope around his neck at his home on Saturday night. Later on Sunday morning, members of his family started calling Sajib. At one point, they broke down the door and entered without hearing a word. He later cut the rope while hanging and rescued Sajib’s body.

The Officer-in-Charge (CO) of the Durgapur Police Station, Hasmat Ali, said that Sabib had committed suicide. As there was no complaint from the family, permission was given to bury the body after inspecting the site.
