On the occasion of the founding anniversary, the central leaders of the organization led by the central president of the Chhatra League, Al Nahyan Khan, and the secretary general, writer Bhattacharya, visited Dhanmondi at 8 a.m. on Monday and paid tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu.
After paying tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait, BCL President Al Nahyan Khan said: “BCL has been involved in every achievement since the inception of the history of Bangladesh. We are moving forward with the young generation with the aim of building a non-communal Bangladesh as a people’s organization. Our sole objective is to work to strengthen the hand of the people’s leader, Sheikh Hasina, to advance secular Bangladesh. This year, the founding anniversary of the Chhatra League will be celebrated on the eve of the Mujib Year and the Golden Jubilee of Independence. Therefore, this year’s founding anniversary is of special importance.
Secretary-General’s writer Bhattacharya said the BCL is committed to implementing the directives of the Honorable Guardian Prime Minister Deshratna Sheikh Hasina. On the eve of the Mujib year and the Golden Jubilee of Independence, all Chhatra League leaders and activists will work to build a developed and prosperous golden Bangladesh by strengthening the hand of Deshratna Sheikh Hasina in the spirit of liberation war.
