Dhaka: The three cases brought against Monir Hossain alias Golden Monir, a businessman detained by the RAB, have been handed over to the detective police. Defendant Golden Monir is currently in the custody of DB.

On Tuesday (November 24) afternoon, three Golden Monir cases were turned over to the Gulshan Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB).

The police officer in charge of Badda (OC), Parvez Islam, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that a total of three cases against Golden Monir have been turned over to Detective DB Police under the Gun Law, the Narcotics Law and the RAB Special Powers Law.

Meanwhile, said the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Intelligence Department (Gulshan). Mashiur Rahman told banglanews that the investigation of three cases was turned over to DB.

He said the defendant Golden Monir was brought to DB’s office from the Badda police station for questioning.

Previously, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) had filed three cases against Monir Hossain alias Golden Monir at the Badda police station in the capital.

Meanwhile, Golden Monir, who was taken to the RAB-3 office after his arrest, has been turned over to the Badda police.

Golden Monir was arrested at his home in the Badda area of ​​the capital on Saturday (November 21) morning. At that time, 600 bags of gold, foreign pistols, liquor, a large amount of currency and Tk 1 crore 9 lakh in cash were seized from his home. Two unlicensed luxury cars, each with a market value of around Rs 3 million, were seized from his home. In addition, three other unlicensed luxury cars were seized from their car show called ‘Auto Car Selection’. The following day, Sunday (November 22) morning, the RAB filed three separate cases against him under the Arms, Drugs and Special Powers Act.
