BNP Salahuddin’s car was attacked
Dhaka: In the by-elections in Dhaka-5, the vehicle carrying BNP candidate Salahuddin Ahmed was attacked again. Although Salahuddin Ahmed was unharmed in the attack, various parts of his car were damaged.
Supporters of the Awami League candidate Kazi Monirul Islam Manu have alleged that the attack was carried out by Salahuddin Ahmed.
On Wednesday (October 6) at noon, his car was attacked on the Demra Bamail Bridge on his way back to the Main Electoral Office in Jatrabari.
Salahuddin Ahmed complained that 15-20 leaders and activists from the Chhatra League and the Juba League suddenly escaped with the procession and broke the car glass. The BNP candidate in the Dhaka-5 by-elections has strongly condemned and protested the attack during the election campaign. 
Criticizing the statement of the Awami League candidate Kazi Monirul Islam Manu, Saladin said that the Awami League candidate is a minor. He has no idea of politics and rival candidates. On the one hand, he called me a stranger and carried out completely useless propaganda, and on the other hand, he attacked my media.
“I am Salahuddin Ahmed, a three-time MP from this area,” he said. The development of 90 percent of this area has been in my hands. By attacking my campaign, you have hurt the minds of the people in the area and exposed their immaturity in politics.
Previously, BNP candidate Salahuddin Ahmed made public contact with leaders and activists in various areas, starting from the Bamail bridge in Demra, Bamail Bazar and Natunpara in Dagir.
