KM Huda said that national elections were voted throughout the country. Voters are less interested in this election. There is no possibility of changing government to become a member of parliament in this election. Candidates or voters may not have much interest in being elected for two to two and a half years.
“We have taken general security measures for Corona,” he said. There are instructions for going to the polls after the mask. Additional skins have been provided for this. Hand washing is available. Fixed a disinfectant. Arrangements were made to repeatedly disinfect the fingerprint area of the EVM. Arrangements have been made to conduct the elections in accordance with the hygiene rules.
Earlier, by-elections in the Dhaka-5 and Naogaon-6 constituencies ended. Electronic voting machines (EVM) were used in both constituencies from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday. Counting takes place at the center immediately after the end of voting.
