The boy was taken back to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from Basila Cemetery on Friday morning.

Hospital authorities say the newborn was “immature”, so there was no “response” at first. Now they are trying to save the baby.

The girl is the second daughter of Yasin Mollah and Shahinur Begum from Malenga village in Gopalganj Sadar upazila.

Shahinur was admitted to Ward 110 of Dhaka Medical College Hospital three days ago. She gave birth to a girl on Friday morning without surgery.

After the birth, the doctor pronounced the newborn dead and handed him over to his father Yasin. Yasin took the girl to the Basila cemetery to bury her. There the child moved.

He quickly took the boy to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

When asked about it, the hospital director, Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin, told bdnews24.com: They took him to the doctor because he is not alive. Now we are trying to save the newborn. “

In early 2015, after being pronounced dead at Dhaka Medical College, the incident of a newborn moving before burial sparked discussion. The boy was later returned to the hospital and could not be saved with treatment.
