BNP Deputy Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the Bangladesh-India border has now become the bloodiest border in the world due to the government’s kneeling foreign policy. “The border area between Bangladesh and India has now become one of the worst massacres in South Asia,” he said.
The party’s deputy general secretary, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, said this at a press conference at the party’s headquarters in Naya Paltan at 11:30 am on Sunday.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that there is no precedent for such extrajudicial executions in the world. It is not backed by any law in the world. The main reason for the increase in border killings is that those who are causing these things are receiving relief. Although the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has spoken of self-defense, there is no evidence that any Bangladeshis have been killed by weapons.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that if someone crosses the border illegally, they must be subject to the law, adding that no one has the authority to shoot and kill. He thinks that these incidents are occurring due to the lack of strong diplomatic efforts by the country to stop the killing of Bangladeshis on the border.
The BNP leader also announced a program Monday to protest the killings on the border. Black flags will be raised at party offices in districts and metropolises across the country on this day and leaders and workers will celebrate black batches.
