Police have recovered the hanging body of a young man from a residential hotel room in the city of Jhenaidah. At that moment a note was found in the hotel room. The note says that the body was sent to his wife Minti.

His body was recovered around 12pm on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Indrajith, 38. He is the son of Shushenandra from the Belgachhi village in Mirpur upazila of Kushtia.

Sadar Police Station OC Mizanur Rahman said the young man rented a four-story room at the hotel on September 28 at noon. It leaves every morning and returns to the hotel in the afternoon.

He had informed the hotel authorities that he was conducting an audit. After receiving the news, they opened the room at night and saw the body of the young man hanging with a towel in the window. After that, they called the young man’s wife, Minti.

The OC further said that a note was found in the hotel room. The note says that the body was sent to his wife Minti. CCTV footage of the hotel is being examined. The body has been interrogated.

In addition, family members, including the deceased’s wife, have been contacted via mobile phones. However, they did not take the news seriously, the OC said.

The body was hung from a window on the south side of the hotel with a new red towel around its neck, but it had signs of blood on its back. With that, both of her legs were trapped in the ground.
