DHAKA: The police have recovered the body of a woman from the Insaf Hotel in Kamalapur, the capital.

Motijheel (SI) Police Deputy Inspector Abdul Jalil said on Sunday (October 18) that the woman’s body was recovered from room 226 on the fourth floor of the Kamalapur Hotel Insaf after receiving information in the evening.

The door to the room was well placed. The woman was lying on the bed. He was only wearing pajamas. The body was covered with a veil. It has round black spots on the neck.

According to the SI, Abul Kalam and his son Sifat arrived in Dhaka from Shariatpur Naria on the 12th and stayed in room 234 of the hotel. They told the hotel manager that Kalam’s wife had moved to Dhaka from the village in anger. They have also come to Dhaka to look for him. Then, on the 18th, they informed the hotel authorities that they had found his wife. Then they rented room 226 of the hotel. The last time the hotel boy went to clean the room, he saw the unconscious woman on the bed. His body was later recovered after informing the police station.

The official said the cause of death could only be confirmed after an autopsy. An attempt is being made to arrest the husband of the murdered woman.
