Lalpur police recovered the bodies of three motorcyclists from the side of the road in Lalpur upazila de Natore yesterday morning. At that time a motorcycle was lying next to the body. That too has been recovered. The deceased were identified as Faisal, son of Abdul Matin from the village of Astikpara under Baraigram upazila, Sajeeb, son of Zia Khan from the village of Gopalpur under the same upazila and Jihan, son of Abu Saheb Tipu Mollah from the village of Nikarhata under Ishwardi upazila of Pabna. According to local sources, all three are candidates for HSC. They were motorcyclists. Faisal and Sajib are students of the Ishwardi government and Jihan is a student at a private university in Dhaka.
Police suspect that sometime on Saturday night, three passengers, including the driver, may have died when a motorcycle collided with a tree in the empty area of the Duaria-Kashimpur highway in Lalpur. In the morning, the neighbors saw a motorcycle with the bodies of three people on the side of the road and reported it to the police. Police sources also said that the three college students were there around 10:30 pm on Saturday.
