In the first round of the municipal elections on Monday, voting was carried out in 24 municipalities. The BNP complained of massive irregularities at the polls. In the end, the ruling Awami League candidates won the office of mayor in most municipalities.
Mirza Fakhrul again expressed distrust in the EVMs, saying: “These are some of their default manipulations, but some of the EVMs (electronic voting machines).” We have always been opposed to EVMs, which are the most fraudulent opportunities in EVMs. Because the people of our country still don’t understand what EVM is?
The BNP general secretary said that today the United States, England, Europe and India are also speaking out against EVM. Proper selection is never possible with this machine.
