According to the latest data from Arizona in the US elections, Democratic candidate Joe Biden leads the state, but the margin of victory is narrowing. On Wednesday night and Thursday morning, the state’s most densely populated county, Marikopa, released the results of another 140,000 ballots.

This shows that Biden is ahead of Donald Trump in Mericopa County with 64,514 votes. However, it got 11,000 fewer votes than the previous margin. In all, Biden leads the state with 6,000 votes.

In Maricopa County, Trump received 56% of the vote, under two new terms. But is the entire state seeing the same situation?

According to the New York Times, to win, Trump will need to get all the votes that remain to be counted in other parts of Arizona. It will even get votes in areas where Democrats get votes. However, the BBC believes it is too early to predict the outcome for Arizona. Still, various Associated Press outlets are speculating that the Democrats will win the state.

Earlier, it was reported that more than two hundred Republican supporters gathered in front of the Mericopa County Recipient’s office, where votes were counted overnight. Votes cast by Donald Trump will not be counted – the protests came after the news broke on social media.
