Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said the review of the MPO’s workforce structure and policy of private educational institutions (schools and colleges) is almost in the final stage. The policy will be finalized soon.
He spoke at the 6th Meeting of Private Educational Institutions (Schools and Universities) on Tuesday (September 1) to review the MPO’s workforce structure and policy.
The Education Minister said the government is doing and will do whatever is necessary to improve the quality of education and the well-being of teachers and staff. That is why initiatives have been taken to modify the policy. Work is underway to resolve inconsistencies in the policy. This will solve the current problems of the teachers.
The meeting has brought the workforce structure and MPO policy of private educational institutions (schools and colleges) to the final stage of review. It is known that the draft of the revised policy can be finalized at the next meeting.
Deputy Minister of Education Lawyer Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel, Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education. Mahbub Hossain, Additional Secretary of the Ministry (Secondary) Mominur Rashid Amin, Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education. Syed Md. Golam Farooq was present.
Also present were members of the committee formed to review the workforce structure and MPO policy of private educational institutions (schools and colleges), representatives from the National University and the Dhaka Board of Education and senior officials from the ministry.
