The air force rescued 4 young people who got lost in the mountain

Six hours later, the Air Force rescued four young men who were lost while wandering through the deep hills near Himchhari in Cox’s Bazar. They were rescued from a deep mountainous area near Himchhari in Cox’s Bazar at 5.30pm on Saturday.

The people rescued are Avik Pal (28) from Ghonar Para in Cox’s Bazar, Saimum Alam Rafsan (28) from Baitush Sharaf Road, Sabiul Bashar Mizbah (28) from South Rumaliarchhara and Abir Shah from the same area.

The matter has been confirmed by group captain Mohammad Mamun, an officer with the radar division of Sheikh Hasina Base of the Bangladesh Air Force in Cox’s Bazar. He said: ‘I was informed by calling 999 on Saturday afternoon that four young men got lost while walking through the deep hills near Himchhari in Cox’s Bazar. After receiving the information, the Air Force rescue team communicated with the youths through their mobile phones. At the same time, after tracking mobile phones and confirming the location of the lost youth, they were rescued and taken to Cox’s Bazar airport.

“The rescued youths were later handed over to their guardians by the police,” he said.
