According to relatives and sources of the CID, the detainee Rozina is the wife of Shahidul’s brother-in-law. Shahidul had been trying to get into a relationship with Rozina since their marriage. After the death of her brother-in-law, Rozina fell in love with Shahidul. But due to Shahidul’s financial difficulties and their marriage, at one point, Rozina turned away from him and moved to Manikganj.
Rozina came to Manikganj and got a job at Akij Textile. Later, due to his job, he formed a relationship with Supervisor Momin and they married. Although Momin was married at the time. While in a relationship with Shahidul, some financial transaction issues came up with Rozina that Shahidul is later revealing locally. For all those reasons, Shahidul used to call Rozina at different times even after marriage.
At one point, Rozina told her husband Momin everything. Then, with the help of her husband Momin, she called Shahidul and killed him by cutting his throat and leg.

According to police sources, Shahidul’s mother, Mosa, was missing. Tamirun Nesa filed a case CR-59/16 under Section 374/34 of the Penal Code in the Kushtia Superior Court of Judicial Magistrates on March 5, 2016. The case was subsequently turned over to the CID after a police investigation by PBI. The latest CID of the Khulna Division revealed the mystery of the case, including the arrest of two defendants, Rozina and Mominul in the case.
