Barisal: Following the order of the Superior Court, the local administration has taken the four minors accused in the case presented in the Bakerganj area of Barisal to their respective homes.
On Friday (October 9) at 8:50 am, the administration officials took the four children to the village of Runshi in Bakerganj in a minibus.
At this moment a heartbreaking scene was revealed there. As soon as they got out of the car, the family members hugged the children and burst into tears.
District Deputy Executive Officer Madhabi Roy, Deputy Commissioner Sajjad Parvez’s Office Probation Officer, Bakerganj Police Station OC Abul Kalam, and other local officers were present as they handed over the four children to their families.
Previously, the Barisal Juvenile Court granted bail to the four children on Thursday night as directed by the Superior Court. Later that night, the superintendent of Barisal Central Jail sent an email to the deputy director of the Jessore Youth Development Center requesting his release. According to the message, administration officials took 4 children in a minibus to Bakerganj in Barisal at 2 am on Thursday.
On Friday morning, the relatives expressed their appreciation to the court for receiving the children. He also demanded that appropriate measures be taken against false accusers.
The district’s deputy executive director, Madhabi Roy, said: “We are following the instructions of the higher court.” And the whole thing is being investigated. At the end of the investigation, the value of the incident will be revealed.
On October 4, a girl was playing with four boys at Rangshree Union, Bakerganj, Barisal. The girl’s father later filed a case at Bakerganj Police Station on October 8 alleging rape. Four minors were arrested in the case and handed over to court on October 8.
