Noakhali: Police have uncovered the murder mystery of a woman in five sensational pieces in Noakhali’s Subarnachar upazila. The victim’s son, Humayun Kabir, and seven of his associates killed her and left the pieces in a rice field.
Subsequently, Humayun Kabir, son of the late Nur Jahan, filed a case with the police station.
According to sources in the case, the Noakhali district police investigation revealed that the boy was directly involved in the murder. At the same time, Chittagong Range DIG Anwar Hossain said that seven of his associates had committed the murder.
He confirmed the information in a press conference on Thursday (October 22).
Chittagong Range DIG Anwar Hossain further said that the police arrested five of the seven defendants in the incident. Two of them have testified in court under article 164.
Humayun Kabir, the son of the murdered woman, told police about the murder and left some money in debt when his brother Belal died. When Humayun was pressured to repay the loan, he told his mother and when his mother refused to pay the loan, he could not bear the pressure and killed his mother.
Earlier on Wednesday (October 6) around 5pm, the woman’s body was recovered from a rice field behind Provida Feed in Uttar Jahajmara village of Charjabbar Union District No. 1 by the Upazila police.
