Citizens of nine other countries, including Bangladesh, have been banned from entering Malaysia. Citizens of a total of 12 countries have been banned from entering the country.
The Malaysian government will impose a ban on the entry of more than 1.5 million countries affected by Kovid-19 into Malaysia starting next Monday, Defense Minister Ismail Sabri Yakub said.
He said the countries on the list are the United States, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Bangladesh. Previously, India, Indonesia and the Philippines were banned.
“We will also bring countries that have exceeded 1.5 million in the number of corona cases under the ban, considering them high risk,” he added.
The Malaysian Ministry of Health will provide details on more than 1.5 million countries affected by the crown.
On Tuesday, Malaysian Minister Ismail Sabri announced a ban on the entry of passport holders from these countries from September 6 due to the increase in the crown.
