A terrible fire broke out in a fake warehouse in the Dewaliabari area below the Gazipur City Corporation’s Konabari Police Station. The fire broke out around 9:15 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters from six fire service units were able to put out the fire after a three-hour effort.

Moments later, the fire spread throughout the tin warehouse and took a terrible shape. At this time the locals tried to put out the fire but failed.
Upon receiving the news, a total of six fire service units, including three from Joydebpur station, two from Kaliakair station and one from DBL station in Kashimpur, went to the scene and began to extinguish the fire. Fire service personnel controlled the fire around 11 p.m. after trying for about an hour and a half. However, they were able to completely extinguish the fire by dumping garbage until 12:30 pm.

However, several products were burned and damaged in the fire, including jute stored in the large warehouse. No casualties were reported. Initially, it was believed that the fire was caused by an electrical short or a fire in a cigarette or a mosquito coil.
