Ten members of the same family were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in Hajipara in the Kathkhal union of Mithamin upazila of Kishoreganj. The accident happened around 5 p.m. on Saturday. Among the injured are three men, four women and three children.
The injured have been identified as Chipai Begum, 62, wife of Abdus Salam, three children Kamal Mia, 32, Jamal Mia, 28, Anu Mia, 25, and Salam’s daughter, Taslima Akter, 20. In addition, among the grandchildren were They find Parveen Akhter (20), Juena Begum (20), Tahura Begum (20), Umme Hanifa (3) and Umme Hani (3 months). Among the injured, his wife Chipai Begum, son Kamal Mia, grandson Parveen Akhter and Umme Hani are said to be in critical condition. Furthermore, Abdus Salam’s children, Jamal Mia and Anu Mia, have been treated locally.
