After taking over, the Deputy Commissioner greeted him with flowers on behalf of the officers and employees of his office. Shah Rukh Sohail, Barisal Division Manager of Plan International Bangladesh, told Prothom Alo that Plan International has organized a symbolic program entitled ‘Girls Takeover’ on the occasion of International Girls’ Day. Through this program, each year, girls have the same opportunities and rights to learn, lead, make decisions and achieve success, which is highlighted to the general population each year. This year, the ‘Girls Takeover’ program was held in more than 60 countries around the world. As part of this symbolic program, girls around the world have been pushing for equality in various public and private positions for some time.
