The government has ordered prayers at home. A maximum of 5 faithful can join the Waktia prayers and a maximum of 10 faithful can join the Friday prayers. According to the instructions, a maximum of 12 people, including Imam, Muazzin, Khatib, Khadim and two Hafez, will be able to participate in Esha Jamaat in Ramadan. At the end of Esha Jamaat, all these 12 people will be able to participate in Tarabi prayers at the mosque. Other faithful will perform Esha and Tarabi prayers in their respective homes. All will personally pray for God’s mercy and deliverance from danger through recitation, remembrance, and supplication.
The board asked to refrain from celebrating iftar mahfils, saying that no person or organization can organize iftar mahfils on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in the interest of maintaining social distance between all.
