Police have found Tania’s family, who was rescued from the Bhangura Baral Bridge train station in Pabna at midnight on Sunday. The girl was handed over to her uncle around 9pm on Monday. Tania is the daughter of the late Mosharraf Hossain from Rampur village in Chatmohar upazila. His mother’s name is Maleka Khatun.
According to the police, a young woman was walking alone at the Bhangura Baral Bridge train station around 12:30 pm on Sunday. At that moment, when the passengers at the station asked him something, he did not answer. When a passenger called 999 on suspicion, the police rescued him and took him to the police station.
When questioned by the police at that time, the girl could not say anything except her name Tania. The Bhangura Police Station then sent detailed information to the police station and the surrounding police station in search of the girl.
In addition, a campaign was launched to find the girl with the Facebook ID of the Bhangura Police Station. The news was published on various online portals, including Kaler Kantho. The girl’s uncle, Ismail Hossain, learned of the disappearance and contacted the Bhangura Police Station.
Later, the Bhangura police contacted the Chatmohar Police Station and handed the girl over to her uncle Ismail Hossain.
Tania’s uncle, Ismail Hossain, said that after the death of her father Mosharraf Hossain a few days ago, Tania’s mother got married elsewhere. Tania became ill and lost her memory. At one point, his niece disappeared from the house on Sunday. After learning about his niece through Facebook, they brought him home from the police station. He expressed his gratitude to the CO of the Bhangura Police Station.
Bhangura Police Station OC Mohammad Anwar Hossain confirmed the matter and said the girl was wandering randomly on the platform at Bhangura Train Station. Fortunately, the young woman did not fall into the hands of any vicious circle. The police rescued him and took him to the police station. After searching for the family, the girl was handed over to her uncle.
