Since the coronavirus began, Tamim has been doing everything possible to help the homeless in various ways. Tamim contributed half the monthly salary of the players hired by the board to the Tk 28 lakh prime minister’s fund.

Later, another national team cricket player, Nazmul Islam, in coordination with Apu, has been providing Iftar items to various families and will continue to do so throughout Ramadan.

Earlier this month, Tamim helped young sprinter and part-time footballer Samiul Islam. Samiul’s family was living in distress after losing their job at Bangladesh Jute Mill Corporation recently.

Bangladeshi swimmer Mahfuza Khatun Shila said: “I have never seen an athlete like Tamim help players in so many events together.”

Tamim also supports the work he is doing for the defenseless on his own initiative. Tamim gave the necessary things.

All sports activities in Bangladesh have been suspended indefinitely since mid-March, with several hundred athletes waiting for the start of the next competition.
