He died of coronavirus in a Dhaka hospital on Saturday morning. He was 69 years old.
Abdul Quader’s body was transferred from the hospital to the Mirpur DOHS home. The body was taken to Shilpakala Academy around 3pm after Janaza in Mirpur DOHS Jame Mosque.
Actor Abdul Quader’s coffin was raised on a temporary altar at the Shilpakala Academy premises on Saturday and his wife Khairunnesa Quader burst into tears.
The body was placed on a temporary altar in front of the National Theater of the Academy. The Bangladesh Group Theater Federation, Sammilita Sangskritik Jote, Natak Dal Dhaka Theater, Theater, Subchan, Samay and Directors Guild paid their respects one by one. Recalling it, Nasiruddin Yusuf Bachchu, President of the Dhaka Theater, said: “When we were 22 years old in 1982, we started our journey on the Dhaka stage at the same time. Kader’s brother was a good friend, a neat actor as he is rare on stage. He was a very dramatic introvert, an unborn enemy. “
Nasiruddin Yusuf said that when the Group Theater Federation was not formed in the 1980s, Abdul Quader also played a prominent role in the dramatic movement in Bangladesh.
He expressed his gratitude for recalling how Kader, as a senior Butter official, had also brought advertisements for theater companies.

Abdul Quader was Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Playwrights and Television Playwrights (Tenashinas), the only organization of playwrights and playwrights in Bangladesh Television.
