Allama Noor Hossain Qasemi, Secretary General of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh, said provocative terrorist slogans were chanted against various Islamic organizations, parties, Alem-Ulama and Madrasas from the processions and rallies of ‘Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Parishad ‘in different parts of the country on Saturday. Allama Qasemi said that the people of the country can easily understand who is doing this to create instability by destroying the existing communal harmony in the country. In addition to the Rajya Sabha elections to be held in West Bengal, India, in the coming months, spies in the country can do all of this to create an anti-Muslim frenzy by creating riots in Bangladesh to bring the BJP to power.
“With these issues in mind, I ask people to be very careful and maintain communal harmony, peace and order, without provoking the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council and the left and the communists,” he said. At the same time, I urge the government to take immediate legal action against the terrorist, extremist and militant behavior of all these organizations involved in inciting the destruction of communal harmony.
