Sylhet: Overcoming all fears, the people of Sylhet in the northeastern part of the country are increasingly interested in receiving the corona vaccine. You took the same amount of vaccine in one day as in the last three days.
In the last three days, 14,909 people have been vaccinated against corona in the Sylhet division. And just on Wednesday (February 10), 13,543 people were vaccinated in the department.

He said the first shipment of the Corona vaccine arrived in Sylhet with 36 cartoons. Each cartoon contains 1200 vials. There are 10 doses in a vial. As such, four lakh 44 thousand doses of vaccine have been received in Sylhet. Work is underway with the goal of halving the dose by February 20. Why not, then the second shipment of the second vaccine will arrive. The objective will be met within 14 days so that HYBRL does not happen.
According to the Sylhet Health Department, 13,543 people were vaccinated in four districts of the Sylhet division last Wednesday. Of these, 9,379 are men and 4,174 are women. Among the divisions, there are 4,658 in Sylhet district, of which 3,333 are men and 1,424 are women. On the same day, 2,465 people were vaccinated in Sunamganj. Of which 1,628 are men and 638 are women. Of the 2,314 people vaccinated in Habiganj, 1,640 were men and 64 were women. Of the 4,007 people vaccinated in the Moulvibazar district that day, 2,069 were men and 1,337 women.
Additionally, statistics show that 14,909 people have been vaccinated in the Sylhet division in the last three days. Of these, 10,640 are men and 4,069 are women.
In these three days, 5,060 people have been vaccinated in Sylhet. Of these, 4,046 are men and 1,593 are women. 3,461 people have been vaccinated in three days in Sunamganj. Of these, 2,007 are men and 715 are women. In Habiganj, a total of 2,231 people have been vaccinated. Of these, 1,851 are men and 560 are women. Three thousand 536 people have been vaccinated in three days in Moulvibazar. Of these, 2,357 are men and 1,171 are women.
On the first day of last Sunday (February 8), 2,397 people were vaccinated in four districts of the division. Of these, 1,848 are men and 749 are women. On Monday (February 8), the second day, the number increased even more. Of 3,954 people in four districts of the department, 2,065 men and 1,069 women have been vaccinated. On Tuesday (February 9), the third day, the number of vaccinators doubled. A total of 8,559 people have been vaccinated in the department on this day. Of these, 6,208 are men and 2,351 are women.
Sylhet Civil Surgeon said. Premananda Mandal said that fear worked in people at first. Those who have been vaccinated have not seen any side effects so far. As a result, public interest in getting vaccinated is increasing.
Of the total of 14 booths installed for corona vaccination under Sylhet City Corporation, 12 booths have been installed at Osmani Medical College Hospital and two booths at Sylhet Divisional Police Lines Hospital. And two corona vaccination booths were installed in each Upazila health complex in Sylhet. In addition, two vaccination centers have also been opened at the Jalalabad Combined Military Hospital.
