Riya Chakraborty, the lover and actress of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was eventually arrested. He was arrested by the Office of Narcotics Control on Tuesday (September 8).
Confirming the matter, the Indian media NDTV reported that Riya was arrested on drug charges after three days of questioning for the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) began questioning Riya since last Sunday. He was called again on Tuesday. He was arrested at noon after a brief questioning.
Meanwhile, G24nta said that during questioning, Riya had admitted his guilt under section 6. He was then arrested. Now the process of getting a rear medical exam has begun.
Previously, the issue of drug involvement came to the fore in the investigation into Sushant’s death via a WhatsApp back chat. Later, the NCB launched an investigation. Subsequently, Brother Shauvik and Sushant Singh’s manager Samuel Miranda were arrested for their involvement.
Riya is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday (September 9) along with Sauvik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda.
