He made the remarks in an online discussion titled ‘E-learning in Coronacle’ hosted by the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) on Saturday. The Minister of Education said: “Our current education policy was formulated in 2010 and steps have been taken to modernize and reform it. E-learning will be given more importance in educational policy. In the coming days, in addition to carrying out direct didactic activities in the classroom, the e-learning activities should be continued through the Internet. E-learning activities will play an important role in developing students’ skills in new subjects.

He said that in order to incorporate worthy people into the curriculum, the teaching profession must be more attractive and teachers must be more efficient through training. Universities need to do more research.
