The Cabinet Division has issued an order prohibiting the free movement of the general public to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The order said public transportation, passenger ships and rail traffic and inland routes would be closed until May 30 during the general holiday. At the same time, interested persons have been instructed to strictly control vehicles other than those engaged in cargo and emergency roadside services.
The order issued by the cabinet division said that during the general holidays and the movement ban, the movement of people from one district to another or from one upazila to another will be strictly regulated. District administration will carefully implement this control with the help of law enforcement agencies. People should stay indoors to prevent coronavirus infection. No one can leave the house from 8 pm to 8 am unless there is an urgent need (buy essential items, buy medications, receive medical treatment, bury or bury corpses, etc.). During holidays / bans, public transportation, passenger ships, and rail services will be closed on highways and air services on inland routes.
