Closed SI Rabiul Islam (30) was stabbed by criminals in Bogra Police Lines due to female injuries.
He was attacked behind the science building of the Bogra Government Azizul Haque College on Friday night. He was admitted to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital (Shajimek).
According to the locals, he was again attacked for committing an immoral act.
Sadar Circle’s Additional Police (Media) Superintendent Faisal Mahmud said the matter was under investigation; If the officer is healthy, it can be confirmed.
Police and locals said that Gaibandha resident SI Rabiul Islam was working at the Chandanbaisha Police Investigation Center in Sariakandi, Bogra. On the night of January 16, he went to a house in the area without notifying anyone. Accusing her of having an affair with a woman, the woman’s ex-husband and his men attacked her and detained her (Rabiul). A few days later they closed it on the police lines.
He currently lives in a rented house in the Bogra city neighborhood area. He was attacked by 4-5 malefactors when he arrived at the campus of the Azizul Haque University of the Bogra Government, about four kilometers away, around 9:15 pm on Friday. He was stabbed multiple times in the face and lips and left. Police and others from the stadium outpost later rescued him and admitted him to Bogra Shajimek Hospital.
Wounded SI Rabiul Islam told reporters, not by going to a woman’s house in Sariakandi for a party; Influential people attacked him last January for obstructing the extraction of sand from the Jamuna River. He assumes they carried out the attack on Friday night and tried to kill him.
SI Jahangir Alam, from the stadium outpost in Bogra, said SI Rabiul was stabbed on the Azizul Haque College campus around 9:15 pm on Friday.
When asked why he came about four kilometers from his home at night, the official said he may have had a personal job there even though he was linked to police lines.
A police inspector, who did not want to be named, said that SI Rabiul Islam was not an officer of good character. He was caught red-handed while committing misdeeds on Sariakandi. Again he went to the university campus far from home and was stabbed. His idea is that SI Rabiul was attacked for immoral acts.
Bogra Sadar Circle (media) Additional Police Superintendent Faisal Mahmud said there were rumors that he was going away from home to college to work at night. It is being investigated whether there was any connection between the attack on him in Sariakandi and the new attack and why he arrived there at night. This can be confirmed once the investigation is recovered and completed. Then there will be a case against those involved.
