The SSC and HSC exams will be in the short program this year, said the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni said that it is not possible to give an autopass to those who have examined in 2021.

He made the remarks while addressing a function at the National Academy of Educational Management (NAEM) in the capital on Monday.

Dipu Moni said that this year a short syllabus was prepared for SSC and HSC candidates that can prepare them in three to four months.

The SSC and HSC exams will be conducted on this basis. Before that, students will have the opportunity to prepare for the exam for three to four months.

Addressing the students protesting the autopsy, he said: “The way you are protesting without following any hygiene rules, the more likely you are to get corona infected.”

The Minister of Education said that the exam will be organized ensuring maximum safety for students in compliance with all kinds of health regulations. So you have nothing to worry about.

Addressing the students, the minister said that the 2020 HSC candidates had completed all preparations for the exams. But due to the high rate of coronavirus infection, the government thought about autopsies for their safety.

But in the case of the 2021 candidates, the situation is different. Therefore, it is not possible to autopass them. The infection rate is also slowly decreasing.

Nayem’s CEO, Prof. Ahmed Sajjad Rashid, chaired the function. Also present was the Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Prof. Syed Md. Golam Farooq.
