He says a short syllabus has been prepared for those who are scheduled to sit for the SSC and HSC exams next year, which can be completed in three months.

The information was given by the Minister of Education in a virtual press conference on Wednesday about the admission of students to secondary level educational institutions.

He said: “In light of the short curriculum, we want to give you three months of classes. That’s why the SSC and HSC exams can take 2/1 months. “

For several years, the SSC exams started from February 1 and the HSC exams from April 1. If those days are holidays, these tests start from the next day.

On this occasion, the SSC exams could be taken on time but all educational institutions in the country were closed as of March 16 when the incidence of the coronavirus began to increase in the country. As a result, HSC and equivalent exams stagnate.

At the end of the year, it was announced that it would no longer be possible to test for HSC during the epidemic; The results of the HSC and equivalent exams will be declared based on the final results of the eighth and SSC and equivalent results.

As the epidemic situation has not improved much, this time the final fifth and eighth exams and the school’s annual exams are not taking place. Without exams, students will move on to the next class.

However, to understand the weaknesses of the students, students in classes VI through IX have been assessed with weekly assignments in a short program.

Apart from Qawmi Madrasa, all other educational institutions have been declared closed until December 19. The next decision will be made to open an educational institution considering the situation, the minister said at a press conference.

He said that if the situation is favorable, the SSC and HSC students will be taken to class for six days after the opening of the educational institution. Students from other classes will come to the school for a couple of days to take classes, as well as their online classes.
