Legendary Indian captain and current chairman of the Indian Cricket Board, Sourav Ganguly, has been hospitalized after falling ill. When he was taken to the hospital, more than one block was found in Sourav’s blood vessel. Angioplasty is then performed.
The good news is that Sourav’s condition is better now than before. His Covid-19 test result was negative. It has two more blocks. Two more stents can be placed for removal. It will be decided on Sunday. This was reported by the Indian media Anandabazar, citing Sourav’s doctor.
According to Anandabazar, Saurabh’s heart has three arteries that supply blood. He underwent angioplasty on Saturday after suffering a heart attack.
