Sonali Bank instructs not to engage in immoral relationships with colleagues

An executive with the rank of deputy CEO of Sonali Bank has been suspended for allegedly having an affair with a colleague. In such a situation, the state bank has warned all bank officials and employees not to establish immoral personal relationships outside of professional relationships.

On March 17, Sonali Bank sent a letter to its officers and employees. Shamima Noor, Sonali Bank’s Deputy General Manager of Public Relations, confirmed the matter to the Bangla Tribune.

According to the letter, the management has decided to file a complaint against the general executive (deputy general manager) for allegedly having an affair with a colleague.

In this case, executives / officer-employees at all levels of the bank are advised to avoid personal immoral relationships outside of professional relationships with all colleagues, regardless of gender.
