Dhaka, May 6 – BFF owed around 100 crore rupees to around 100 referees for holding various national football competitions. These referees were in trouble after all games were stopped at Coronavirus. In times of crisis, they demanded that BFF pay all fees.
After everything closed in Corona, BFF paid Rs 24 lakh in arrears to the referees. The BFF general secretary said he will pay another 25 lakh rupees before Eid. Abu Naeem Sohag.
‘Around 90 referees play our various games; But when the game was over, the referees lost some money. The amount is 61 lakh rupees. Of these, we paid Tk 24 lakh in 223 checks after everything closed in Corona. We will pay another 25 lakh rupees before Eid. Then the arbitrators will be paid around sixty percent of the debt, ”said BFF secretary general.
In addition to the referees, BFF paid field workers of different levels, those working in the stadium and the BFF building goalkeeper will also receive their dues before Eid. Abu Naeem Sohag.
