October 29, 2019: A black chapter in Bangladeshi cricket. Bangladesh’s biggest cricket star, Shakib Al Hasan, was banned from hiding his conversation with a player. The cricket star has been banned from all forms of cricket for two years by the ICC, the governing body for cricket. The one-year ban was lifted. The best cricketer in the country has to stay out of cricket for the remaining year.

A year of prohibition came to an end. Shakib was released from all ICC bans on Thursday. From now on, one of the world’s all-rounders will no longer be banned from playing all types of cricket.

Bangladesh cricket was hit hard on October 29 last year. On the night of October 26, there was a sudden rumor that the best cricketer in the country, Shakib, might be banned. Cricket across the country was shocked at this news. Media workers gathered in Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla for 12-13 hours straight. The fans surrounded the entire stadium. After a long wait, as soon as night fell, that rumor really took shape. Shakib was banned for two years for hiding a player’s offer.

Deepak Agarwal, an Indian player, was behind Shakib’s capture. The ICC banned Shakib from all forms of cricket for two years on three counts. However, the sentence was reduced to one year for admitting irregularities.

Shakib committed three crimes in Article 2.4.4 of the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU or ACSU). What are they:

1. Shakib was offered to fix the first match of Bangladesh’s tri-national series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in January 2016, that is, the first match in the 2018 IPL. But he did not give details to the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU).

2. Crime in the same section: In January 2016, during the tri-national series, Shakib received an offer of another arrangement. But Shakib has not yet informed the ICC about it.

3. Violations under the same section: On April 26, 2016, Shakib received a settlement offer in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab. But he did not tell the ICC or the anti-corruption agency.

Shakib spent most of his time in the United States while it was banned. There, his wife Umme Ahmed gave birth to Shishir’s second daughter. Shakib spent time with his two daughters and his family. However, he continued to help the defenseless people of the country even in distant situations. Start a foundation in your own name and work tirelessly. To help the people, England sold their favorite painted bat at the World Cup. Helped many people including food aid, purchase of Corona kits, supply of ambulances, flood victims.

He returned to Sri Lanka from time to time. After flying in from the United States, the world star from Bangladesh also went through an intensive internship in the BKSP field. But in the end, the Sri Lankan tour was postponed and Shakib returned to his family in the United States. However, Shakib’s wait ended today. The T20 league starts from November 15. With this national T20 tournament, Shakib Al Hasan from Bangladesh will return to 22 yards.
