Shakib scored 13.8 in the whistle test at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday. Comilla Pacer Mehdi Hasan’s 13.6 was the highest aptitude test score of more than 100 national cricketers in the previous two days.
As the cricketers in the national team skills field and the HP cricketers are in the process of physical conditioning, the arrangement was made to test the aptitude of the external cricketers.
Shakib was scheduled to undergo the test on Monday after returning from a year-long ban. But none of those he was supposed to be tested with had a Covid-19 test, so he didn’t have an aptitude test that day. The physical therapist also watched him for a while as he returned after a long break.
Back in the country at the beginning of last September, Shakib went to BKSP and prepared intensively for four weeks. However, after the Bangladesh tour of Sri Lanka was postponed, he returned to the United States. Returning to the country on Friday morning, the SUV said, “Of course not. Since a month-long gap has passed, I have naturally gone back quite a bit. It will take time.”
However, on this month-long break, Shakib explained that he didn’t get too rusty on the fitness test.
