Their demands are: reinstatement of the Muktijoddha quota in all positions, constitutional recognition and approval of the law to protect the Muktijoddha family, vote for a martyred or killed Muktijoddha representative and the ill Muktijoddha family in the Muktijoddha parliamentary elections , preparation of a transparent list as defined in 1972, film to protect the sanctity of Mujib Kot, Enactment of laws against the use of Mujib coats by evil people, including the prohibition of the use of Mujib coats by serial drama characters .

Furthermore, the abandoned property of the Muktijoddha Kalyan Trust was transformed into a for-profit organization. The seven-point demand is to take legal action and grant “VIP status” to heroic freedom fighters in all fields, including hospitals, government offices and airports.

If these demands are not met immediately, Bangladesh’s founding president, Muktijoddha Sontan Sangsad Md., Has warned that Shahbagh’s shift be blocked again on February 23. Solomon Mia.

He said: “Considering the suffering of the people, today we suspend the program. If our demands are not met, Shahbagh will be cordoned off again on February 23. No vehicle will circulate in Shahbag that day. “

The general secretary of the organization Shafiqul Islam said: “We have previously carried out several programs with the same demand. We also had a meeting with the Minister of Liberation War. By not seeing the implementation of demand so far, we have started a strong move again. We are campaigning for the restoration of the 30 percent quota for the children of freedom fighters. We want to make our demands come true through movement. “
