West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee suffered a serious left ankle injury in the Nandigram attack on Wednesday. He also suffered serious injuries to his legs, right arm, neck, and right shoulder. Hospital authorities have confirmed it. He is currently in the ICU for 48 hours.

Hospital authorities say the prime minister’s legs are in a cast. A CT scan is scheduled for Thursday. After being injured, Chief Minister Mamata was taken to SSKM Hospital through the Green Corridor. There he was admitted to Cabin 12:30 in Woodburn Ward. After multiple tests and initial treatment at SSKM, it was decided that an MRI would be done. He was taken by ambulance to the Bangur Neuroscience Institute. He underwent an MRI and was taken back to SSKM Hospital’s Woodburn Ward around 1 am.

After reviewing the MRI reports and other physical examinations, Dr. Bandyopadhyay said, “The initial examination report indicates that Mamata has suffered serious injuries to her left ankle and ankle bone. She also has pain in her right shoulder, right arm and neck. He added: “The Chief Minister has been experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath since the incident. He has been under close observation for the next 24 hours.

Trinamool alleges that four or five people pushed Mamata in Nandigram on Wednesday. Meanwhile, BJP leaders say Mamata Banerjee wants to continue the accident as an attack. He is doing ‘drama’ to gain sympathy before the vote.
