Dhaka: Several political figures, including government ministers and opposition leaders, have expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Ekushey medal-winning journalist and novelist, Rahat Khan.
Government ministers, prominent politicians and cultural figures have expressed their condolences for the death of Rahat Khan.
They remembered the life and work of Rahat Khan and wished his deceased soul peace and conveyed deep sympathy to the grieving members of the family.
Renowned novelist and journalist Rahat Khan breathed his last at home around 8:30 pm on Friday (August 26). He was 80 years old.
He suffered from various diseases of old age, including heart disease, kidney disease, and diabetes for a long time. She was at home because her medical procedure was complicated and she could not have surgery.
