Seven memoranda of understanding have been signed between the two countries ahead of a virtual meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The agreements were signed by the heads of their respective departments on behalf of Bangladesh and the country’s High Commissioner in Dhaka Vikram Doraiswamy on behalf of India.
Meanwhile, all preparations for the meeting of the two prime ministers have been completed. Ganobhaban’s Prime Minister and Narendra Modi will join him from Delhi. According to sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh will discuss the peaceful border, trade cooperation, connectivity, cooperative cooperation, Bangladesh’s 50 years of independence and other topics.
